Thanks to global warming summer isn't unbearable this year. We have been getting lot of rain but I dont mind. That reminds me...I need to invest in some much needed rain boots.
What I dont miss about summer is the hot, sweaty, funky smelling trips to the city on the Subway. Back when it was hot everyones thighs were stikcing to the seeats on the bus and the train and there was always someones sweaty residue imprinted everywhere. On top of all that people who use public transportation dont know what deodorant means which is 1ox worse in hot heat. I definietly didn't miss walking up and down broadway with the sun beaming down and after walking three blocks my shirt would be drenched.
Thankfully we;ve been hab=ving a cool summer. It's not too hot and it's not to cold. It's jsut right. I would prefer less rainy days but I can't complain.
